Fall 2021 /Spring 2022

Now with the worst of the pandemic behind us, SCMC will continue its legacy of success into the next competitive season with in-person practices! And under the leadership of our new president, Nicholas Castaño, we’re anticipating our best year yet!

Under the leadership of president Nicholas Castaño, SCMC reached new heights, placing 1st in regional oral argument competition and placing 10th nationally for written brief advocacy.

Spring 2023

At nationals, SCMC placed 2nd in the nation in appellate brief-writing and two SCMC teams finished in the top 32 of oral argument. In April, SCMC would host its first-ever internal competition among its spring-recruits.

Spring 2020

At the national tournament, SCMC placed third in the nation - even defeating the #1 seeded team coming into the tournament! The success of our first competitive season caught the eye of USC Gould School of Law, who quickly sponsored us. Our relationship has flourished ever since.
